Role Overview

In this project-oriented position, the Financial Analyst will deliver timely, relevant, and precise reporting and analysis pertinent to AAK's operations in the US and the Americas. This role will also support regional reporting that aids strategic decision-making aligned with budgetary and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and track factors influencing profitability, growth, and efficiency.
  • Develop analytical tools and a standardized reporting framework to enable the operations finance team to better analyze, comprehend, and forecast manufacturing costs for reporting and planning purposes.
  • Create analytics and reporting mechanisms to enhance understanding, control, and forecasting of the US P&L and overall performance metrics, utilizing data from various sources.
  • Coordinate, analyze, manage, and report on US strategic initiatives, preparing analytics and communications as required, in collaboration with marketing and commercial strategy leaders.
  • Support the US contract management team with updates, reporting, and follow-ups, driving results in contract management and effective reporting.
  • Handle additional responsibilities related to CFO projects, management, and reporting across the Americas region or any aspect of the US operations.
  • Compile data for annual reports, including charts and tables, and assist in budget and cash flow preparation.
  • Produce or collaborate on financial presentation materials for Leadership Team meetings.
  • Maintain and enhance various financial models and templates for Finance's use during planning processes, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Utilize financial analysis techniques and tools to provide practical insights to business partners and management, driving positive business outcomes.

Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting with 3-7 years of financial analysis experience.
  • Proficient in financial systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit professionalism, maturity, and discretion.
  • Familiarity with procedural controls and data validation techniques.
  • Financial modeling expertise is advantageous.
  • A professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and think analytically, conducting research and resolving complex issues.
  • Professional presence with the ability to engage with senior leadership.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
