Role Overview

*In this project-oriented position, the Financial Analyst will deliver timely, relevant, and precise reporting and analysis pertinent to the AAK US operations and the Americas region. This role is crucial in shaping regional reporting that supports decision-making aligned with budgetary and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and monitor factors impacting profitability, growth, and productivity.
  • Develop analytics and a standardized reporting framework to enable the operations finance team to better analyze, comprehend, and forecast manufacturing costs for reporting to leadership and for profit and loss planning.
  • Create analytics and reporting mechanisms to enhance understanding, control, and prediction of the US profit and loss and overall volume performance, utilizing various data sources.
  • Coordinate, analyze, manage, and report on US strategic plans, preparing analytics and communications as required, in collaboration with marketing and commercial strategy teams.
  • Support the US contract management team with updates, reporting, and follow-ups, facilitating effective contract management.
  • Engage in additional responsibilities related to CFO projects, management, and reporting for the Americas region, or any aspect of the US business.
  • Compile data for annual reports, including charts, tables, and other requested exhibits, and assist in budget and cash flow preparation.
  • Produce or collaborate on necessary financial presentation materials for leadership meetings.
  • Maintain and enhance various financial models and standard templates for Finance's use during planning processes, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Utilize financial analysis techniques and tools to provide practical insights to business partners and management, driving business outcomes.

Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting with 3-7 years of financial analysis experience.
  • Proficient in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated maturity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques.
  • Expertise in financial modeling is advantageous.
  • A professional with a robust work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Independent and analytical thinker capable of conducting research and resolving complex issues.
  • Ability to engage with senior leadership effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
