About the Role:

The University of Chicago Medicine seeks an experienced Administrative Manager to oversee the operational and administrative functions of our American School location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing departmental staff, supervising billing and collection procedures, monitoring service delivery, and planning space allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage office operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficient task completion
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hospital departments and clientele
  • Assist in event management and project coordination
  • Supervise support and administrative staff, implement office policies, and maintain equipment
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and audio-visual services as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration preferred
  • At least 5 years of office experience, with 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Project and Visio
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary of $ 76,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
