Position Overview:

H2M Architects and Engineers, a leading multidisciplinary firm in architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting, is in search of a proactive Strategic Innovation Lead. This role is essential in fostering collaboration and driving innovative projects from inception to execution. The selected candidate will work closely with the Learning and Development team and report directly to the Director of L&D.

Key Responsibilities:

The Strategic Innovation Lead will oversee a variety of innovation initiatives that are crucial for enhancing our organizational culture and maintaining our competitive edge in the A/E industry. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing innovative strategies that promote business expansion and strengthen our market position.
  • Working with diverse teams to generate innovative concepts, manage the innovation pipeline, and prioritize projects based on their strategic significance and feasibility.
  • Establishing criteria for project prioritization, including resource allocation, budget considerations, and timelines.
  • Leading the design and execution of pilot projects to evaluate new ideas and methodologies.
  • Ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of selected innovation projects.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of innovation initiatives and identifying opportunities for enhancement, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Facilitating effective communication among team members and stakeholders to keep all parties informed about project developments and challenges.
  • Acting as a thought leader and advocate for innovation within the organization, promoting a culture that encourages creativity and risk-taking.
  • Championing innovation throughout the organization.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly status reports to the executive team.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to analyze data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proven capability to structure projects with clear timelines, budgets, and task ownership.
  • Exceptional skills in motivating and influencing cross-departmental teams without direct authority.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Experience in providing strategic guidance to management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Compensation:
