Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Strategic Innovation Lead who will effectively engage with key stakeholders and the executive team to drive innovation initiatives from inception to execution.
This role is a vital part of the Learning and Development division and will report directly to the Director of Learning and Development.
Key Responsibilities:
The innovation initiatives at H2M are diverse in scale and complexity, playing a crucial role in reinforcing our culture and maintaining our status as a frontrunner in A/E service delivery.
The Strategic Innovation Lead will oversee and coordinate all innovation-related activities and projects.
Specific Duties Include:
- Developing and executing innovative strategies and initiatives that promote business expansion and strengthen our competitive edge.
- Collaborating with cross-departmental teams to discover innovative concepts, manage the innovation pipeline, and prioritize projects based on strategic importance and feasibility.
- Creating criteria for prioritization, including frameworks for resource allocation, budgeting, and timelines.
- Overseeing the design and execution of pilot projects to evaluate new ideas and concepts.
- Managing selected innovation projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of innovation initiatives, identifying improvement opportunities, and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Facilitating communication among team members, stakeholders, and others to keep everyone updated on project developments, changes, and challenges.
- Acting as a thought leader and advocate for innovation within and outside the organization, fostering a culture that encourages creativity and risk-taking among all employees.
- Championing innovation throughout the organization.
- Preparing a monthly status report for the CEO and other executive team members.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
Preferred Certifications:
PMP, CIP, or similar credentials.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong project structuring abilities, including timelines, costs, tasks, and clarity of ownership.
- Ability to inspire and influence individuals across various departments and organizational levels without direct authority.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, relationship-building capabilities, and employee coaching expertise.
- Proven ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource for the management team, providing leadership and direction.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt priorities based on business requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $95,000 and $125,000 annually. The final offer may vary based on factors such as experience, specialization, knowledge, education, and certifications, in accordance with applicable laws.
