As the USA-based subsidiary of SPECS Surface Nano Analysis GmbH, we specialize in the distribution of cutting-edge technology, including scanning probe microscopes and photoelectron spectroscopy systems. Our dedicated team is committed to delivering exceptional sales and service support for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist customers in the USA and Canada with technical inquiries and troubleshooting.

· Conduct on-site maintenance, service, and repair of sophisticated scientific equipment.

· Install complex surface analysis instruments and provide training to clients on their operation.

· Ability to lift and maneuver scientific equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and navigate various installation environments.

· Travel frequently, primarily within the USA, Canada, Germany, and Japan, with occasional trips to other regions and trade shows.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline (e.g., physics, engineering, materials science, chemistry).

· Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues with advanced surface analysis equipment.

· Hands-on experience with ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems.

· Familiarity with ARPES, XPS, and/or LT-SPM technologies.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.

· Competence in understanding schematics and using MS Windows and Office applications.

· Ability to manage time and projects efficiently within a dynamic work environment.

· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

· USA citizenship is mandatory, along with the ability to pass a background check for access to restricted facilities. A valid driver's license and passport are also necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Ph.D. in a relevant science or engineering field.

· Direct experience with SPECS and/or UNISOKU equipment.
