Key Responsibilities- Patient Check-In and Check-Out: Greet patients promptly, complete the check-in process efficiently, and ensure accurate and thorough review of patient demographics, insurance, and financial information.
- Appointment Scheduling and Management: Effectively manage patient flow, monitor daily appointment schedules, and communicate delays to patients and clinical staff.
- Cash Handling and Reconciliation: Collect co-pays, accurately reconcile daily cash, and complete the check-out process for patient visits.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with back office support staff, other departments, and patients, and function well as a team member with flexibility to adapt to daily changes in routine or assignments.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum two years' experience working in a physician's office or healthcare facility, with experience with medical billing preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Exceptional customer service skills, ability to interact successfully with people from diverse backgrounds and abilities, basic computer literacy, and working knowledge of electronic medical records and practice management systems.
- 18 PTO days per year and 11 paid holidays.
