Certification Program Administrator

Full Time/Hybrid (Remote & In Office)

The Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA) is in search of a dedicated Certification Program Administrator to enhance its vibrant team. This role is pivotal in supporting TRSA's comprehensive Clean Green, facility-based Hygienically Clean, and specialized professional programs. The Certification Program Administrator will collaborate closely with the Senior Director, administrative staff, and external auditors to ensure that the certification initiatives adhere to the highest standards of credentialing and accreditation, while also following established policies and procedures. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Certification and Accreditation.

  • Strategic Decision-making – Employ decision-making frameworks to establish a clear command structure and a cohesive action plan that meets the needs of stakeholders and aligns with the objectives of the certification programs and TRSA.

  • Team Collaboration – Function effectively within team settings, share ideas, and fulfill responsibilities collectively.
  • Organizational Skills – Ability to manage multiple tasks and organize information from various sources with meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the processes and workflows related to certification, recertification, and auditing, including communication with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update a diverse array of manual and electronic documents, files, and records (e.g., certificates, performance evaluations, continuing education credits) to ensure timely information is available in line with administrative guidelines.
  • Gather data from multiple sources to prepare reports, formulate recommendations, and provide information to the assigned administrator.
  • Support the Senior Director in collaborating with certification program subject matter experts (SMEs) for the development and revision of standards, audits, and professional practices.
  • Assist in executing strategic and operational plans and objectives.
  • Facilitate quarterly meetings (both in-person and remote) for certification program committees, advisory groups, task forces, and user groups.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly reports detailing activities, objectives, budget, and other relevant initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for all certification programs, including the appeals process, and maintain certification and recertification data.
