Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Field Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of flooring projects. This role involves managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure that all projects are delivered efficiently and meet client expectations. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to facilitate smooth project execution and will be responsible for providing regular updates on project status, including documentation and visual progress reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Create comprehensive project plans and timelines, ensuring clarity in scope and specifications for flooring installations.
  • Budget Management: Develop and oversee project budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Client and Stakeholder Coordination: Engage with clients to understand their requirements and expectations, while working closely with contractors to ensure satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Lead and coordinate efforts among subcontractors and team members, providing necessary resources and resolving conflicts as they arise.
  • Project Monitoring: Track project milestones, proactively identifying potential challenges or delays.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets industry standards and project specifications through diligent oversight.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project records, including contracts and invoices, and coordinate material deliveries to align with project schedules.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present status reports to management regarding project progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the flooring or construction industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy.
