Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Miller Environmental Group. As a Field Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our environmental construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians, drivers, and mechanics to ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with clients, senior managers, and the sales team to identify opportunities and maintain relationships.
  • Produce timely and accurate documentation, including report writing, map generation, and chain of custody.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, inventory control, and DOT regulations.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing project schedules and budgets.
  • At least three to five years of supervisory/project management experience in environmental construction/industrial cleaning, with knowledge of emergency response/management, quality management, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with personnel and clients, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

The employee must lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

The work is primarily performed in the field, outdoors in the heat or cold for 8 or more hours per day. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

To reduce exposure to harmful materials, workers often wear coveralls, gloves, shoe covers, safety glasses, or goggles. Some must wear fully enclosed protective suits for several hours at a time; these suits may be hot and uncomfortable and may cause the workers who wear them to experience claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces). In extremely toxic cleanups, hazmat workers are required to wear respirators or personal air monitors.
