PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

The primary role involves addressing and resolving a variety of customer inquiries and requests, primarily through phone and email communication. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding customer service and maintain professionalism throughout all interactions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Answer incoming calls and greet all callers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Regularly monitor and promptly respond to emails and voicemail messages.
  • Establish and nurture strong working relationships with customers, prospects, and visitors to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and resolve them with empathy and urgency, keeping customers informed of the progress.
  • Process orders from designated customers efficiently.
  • Provide general administrative support as required for the corporate office.

EDUCATION

REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL

REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or administrative roles.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
PREFERRED:
  • 5+ years of experience in customer service or administrative roles.
  • Experience as an accounts receivable and accounts payable clerk.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Vision: Ability to read, write, type, and operate office and manufacturing equipment.

Speaking/Hearing: Ability to communicate effectively through speaking and listening.

Motor Coordination: Requires manual dexterity to operate equipment.

Lift/Carry: Ability to regularly lift, push, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Environment: Office and warehouse settings may present dust, sharp edges, uneven flooring, and variations in temperature.
