Job Summary

The Sales Concierge is a vital member of our team at Penske Automotive Group, serving as the first point of contact for customers and visitors. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and customers.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, responding to inquiries and providing information as needed.
  • Greets and directs visitors, including customers and vendors, to the correct department or person.
  • Obtains and records demographic information about each customer, using our dealership's sales control system.
  • Hands out brochures and other information to visitors, promoting our dealership's products and services.
  • Answers basic customer inquiries and refers more complex inquiries to the appropriate person.
  • Serves as a clerical and administrative backup, providing support as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of experience answering calls in a high-volume setting, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment.
  • Valid driver's license.

Work Environment

This role will primarily work in a retail automotive sales showroom, with occasional opportunities to drive cars. The Sales Concierge will work with a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed. The position requires the ability to alternate sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift, as well as the ability to push, pull, stoop, kneel, reach, and grasp.
