Customer Service Representative

For our Sales division, we are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative.

Role Overview:

The Customer Service Representative (CUS Rep) plays a crucial role in delivering direct assistance to the external Sales Team in nurturing both existing and potential clients, distributors, and end-users. This position is vital for achieving the Sales Entity's growth objectives through exceptional communication and sales abilities. Proficiency in English is essential due to the necessity for cross-border communication.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all client inquiries.
  • Oversee and coordinate the order processing from initiation to completion in collaboration with the Order Fulfillment Team.
  • Prepare professional quotations and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Manage company-generated leads and maintain an updated status report in the CRM system, collaborating with team members.
  • Proactively track outstanding orders within the system.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints, ensuring adherence to the complaint resolution process.
  • Collaborate with the accounts department on customer credit matters and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Monitor pricing and discounts, working towards targets as part of the Sales team.
  • Assist the Commercial Manager with reporting tasks, providing relevant data and insights.
  • Support local marketing initiatives and participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) programs.
  • Manage bilingual agreements between Enerpac, distributors, and end-users in conjunction with the Regional Manager.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines as required for a publicly traded company.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Relevant experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Applicants should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • A proactive and energetic approach to work.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-discipline and motivation to work independently.
  • Flexibility and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Proficiency in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
