POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is pivotal in managing comprehensive updates via customer platforms, ensuring adherence to all logistics standards set by clients. Actively engages in team meetings aimed at enhancing organizational performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adhere to all OSHA regulations, safety protocols, PPE requirements, as well as ISO and environmental standards.
  • Serve as a bridge between clients and internal departments - including shipping, planning, supervision, repackaging, quality assurance, etc.
  • Analyze client releases. Daily updates of shipping timelines with confirmed releases. Weekly updates of forecast releases. Monthly updates of sales forecasts.
  • Establish and manage scheduling agreements for all product identifiers. Monitor EDI on a daily basis.
  • Fulfill client specifications, which may include bulletin assessments, shortage evaluations, commitments, cumulative reconciliations, and database upkeep.
  • Strive for and sustain 100% delivery performance based on the logistics metrics defined by the client. Regularly check the portal; promptly notify the internal team of any discrepancies and formulate a corrective action plan. Address client grievances within the stipulated timeframe and manner.
  • Follow the approval and execution protocols for expedited shipping. Track and disseminate premium freight reports as necessary.
  • Act as an after-hours contact for clients when required.
  • Contribute to team objectives by:
  • Submitting and implementing Kaizen initiatives
  • Cross-training with colleagues
  • Filling in for other materials roles as necessary
  • Resolving issues
  • Supporting materials metrics and fulfilling materials requirements
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in Customer Service
  • Familiarity with SAP
