About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Safety Coordinator to join our team at Clune Construction. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, trade partners, and visitors on our job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Safety Manager to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location

This role is based in Washington DC and requires knowledge of MOSH and VOSH safety standards.
