Key Responsibilities- Pre-Operative Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, collect and interpret relevant data, and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perioperative Care: Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of safety and comfort for our patients.
- Post-Operative Care: Monitor patients' recovery progress, provide education and support, and coordinate discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to home or further care.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to promote best practices.
- Education: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- License and Certification: Current RN licensure and BLS certification required. Laparoscopy experience and 3+ years of nursing experience in an operating room or critical care setting preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records.
