About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Programs Coordinator to join our team. As a Community Programs Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our community-driven food security programs. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain relationships with community partners, develop and implement program strategies, and provide technical assistance to community-based organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community-based programs to address food insecurity and promote food access
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including community-based organizations, schools, and government agencies
  • Provide technical assistance and training to community-based organizations on food security and nutrition
  • Conduct needs assessments and program evaluations to inform program development and improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement program strategies and policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, nutrition, or social work
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in community-based program development and implementation
  • Strong relationships with community-based organizations and government agencies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
