Commercial Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Business Development Specialist to join our team at CFG BANK. As a key member of our business banking team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales growth by cross-selling and upselling products and services to existing clients.
- Credit Analysis and Risk Management: Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments to ensure the viability of loan requests.
- Loan Origination and Documentation: Originate and document loans, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Asset Quality and Risk Management: Monitor and manage the asset quality of originated loans, ensuring they are accurately rated and risk-rated.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, operations, and sales, to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
- Education: Four-year college degree in business or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial lending experience, with a proven track record of sales growth and relationship management.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to determine the viability of loan requests and negotiate loan terms.
- Knowledge: Proficient in commercial loan structuring, government regulations, and loan documentation.
We offer a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote after the initial 90-day period.
