We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Business Development Specialist to join our team at CFG BANK. As a key member of our business banking team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales growth by cross-selling and upselling products and services to existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
- Credit Analysis and Risk Management: Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments to ensure the viability of loan requests and make recommendations to management.
- Loan Origination and Documentation: Originate and process loan requests, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Community Development: Participate in community development initiatives and events to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Education: Four-year college degree in business or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial lending experience, with a proven track record of sales growth and relationship-building.
- Skills: Strong credit analysis and risk management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
CFG BANK offers a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote after the initial 90-day period. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
