We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Business Banker to join our team at CFG BANK. As a Commercial Business Banker, you will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Actively solicit prospects and referral sources for new commercial loan and deposit opportunities, and play an active role in the community to represent the Bank and obtain new business leads.
- Client Relationships: Develop new banking relationships with business prospects, service existing business banking client base, and achieve established goals as outlined by manager.
- Credit Analysis: Evaluate credit information and requests, and recommend appropriate loan structure to manage risk, effectively negotiate with underwriters and clients to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
- Loan Production: Achieve sales goals with minimum expectations, including loan production of $4MM to $8MM and deposit balance production of $800M to $2MM.
- Portfolio Management: Manage loan portfolio of relationships, including annual reviews, covenant compliance, and actively participate in all business banking business development.
- Community Involvement: Play an active leadership role in the community and at corporate events, which leads to additional sales opportunities.
- Education: Four-year college degree in business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years commercial lending experience.
- Skills: Ability to determine through underwriting/analyzing loan requests the viability of a loan request, proficient with commercial loan structuring and government regulations, ability to attract and retain commercial relationships, and knowledge of loan documentation.
