POSITION OVERVIEW

This is an in-person hybrid role (3+ days a week) with occasional travel to satellite locations.

As a Marketing Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Campaign Management:

  • Support the planning, execution, and enhancement of marketing initiatives across multiple channels such as social media, email, and paid advertising.
  • Engage with all of Sally's social media platforms, contributing to content creation, scheduling, audience interaction, and responding to customer inquiries.

Content Development:

  • Work alongside the creative team to generate engaging content for various platforms including blogs, social media, and newsletters.
  • Participate in content production, marketing events, photo shoots, and strategic meetings.
  • Develop digital marketing assets such as recruitment and retention videos, promotional materials, and social media content to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.

Market Analysis:

  • Assist in research efforts with Operations to evaluate customer behavior, purchasing patterns, and industry trends.

Performance Analysis:

  • Track and report on the success of marketing campaigns, offering insights and suggestions for improvement.

Event Management:

  • Support the organization and management of events, webinars, and trade shows, ensuring all marketing materials and logistics are prepared.
  • Collaborate with Operations: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, product development, and guest relations to maintain consistency in messaging.
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure that all marketing materials are well-stocked and in excellent condition.
  • Prepare and order in-store signage and printed materials using established templates.

  • Utilize knowledge of systems, situations, and procedures within the organization to identify potential challenges and opportunities.

  • Clearly articulate ideas and information.
  • Conduct on-camera interviews with professionalism.

  • Adhere to accepted social and ethical standards in all job-related activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and popular social media platforms).
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics, including targeted advertising and demographic analysis.
  • Foundational knowledge of SEO principles.

Language Proficiency: English, Basic Spanish (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of demonstrated success in a digital content creation environment.
  • Thorough understanding of industry trends and viral marketing.
  • Experience in the restaurant or hospitality sector is advantageous.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability for work during days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • This role requires on-site presence for a minimum of 3 days a week and attendance at all new restaurant openings.
  • Approximately 10% of your time will involve travel to various locations on an assigned project basis.

  • Starting salary at $60,000 per year, based on experience.
