Job Overview

The Property Leasing Specialist serves as the primary representative for property sales and acts as the main point of contact for resident services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming prospective tenants, providing refreshments, highlighting property advantages, securing deposits, and executing all leasing operations.
  • Answering incoming calls promptly, aiming for a response by the second ring.
  • Handling inquiries from clients, residents, and service providers with professionalism.
  • Completing welcome documentation, tracking all visitor interactions, and ensuring follow-up with potential tenants.
  • Assessing potential tenants in accordance with property standards while adhering to Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.
  • Gathering all necessary documentation, fees, and deposits for new leases.
  • Fostering a professional and welcoming office environment.
  • Conducting daily inspections of model units, vacant apartments, and office spaces to maintain readiness.
  • Staying informed about local market dynamics and updating the Market Survey on a monthly basis.
  • Maintaining precise records of residents and leasing activities.
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to leasing and marketing as required.
  • Processing service requests and coordinating with maintenance, ensuring follow-up with residents.
  • Inspecting the property, picking up litter, and reporting maintenance needs to management.
  • Complying with all local and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Assisting colleagues with various apartment management tasks.
  • Utilizing the golf cart safely and legally.
  • Understanding budgetary constraints.
  • Following up on service requests.
  • Participating in ongoing training as assigned.
  • Performing additional duties as needed.

Compensation: $20/hour plus commission.
