Job Overview

Tradeco Construction is actively looking for skilled Residential Solar Panel Technicians to contribute to various projects.

This role primarily involves new residential solar installations.

As a Technician, your responsibilities will include the daily field installation of mechanical components, mounting systems, electrical assemblies, and solar panels.

Availability for 40-60 hours per week is required (weather permitting).

Key Qualifications

  • Prior experience in photovoltaic (PV) installations, general construction, and carpentry is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the safe operation of hand tools and power equipment.
  • A strong commitment to safety is essential; OSHA 10 certification is preferred (assistance available).
  • Ability to work safely on roofs for extended durations.
  • Comfortable with ascending and descending ladders.
  • Capability to work in confined spaces such as attics and rooftops.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including cold, wet, and muddy environments.
  • Maintain professional attire, language, and appearance in front of clients at all times.
  • Installation of solar panels in accordance with schematics and safety standards.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
