Position OverviewThe Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the efficient assembly, repair, and rework of various assemblies with minimal oversight, ensuring a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in output.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, repair, and rework assemblies efficiently with limited supervision.
- Utilize test equipment and engineering drawings to evaluate mechanical components.
- Ensure high quality and timely delivery in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
- Conduct functional testing on products using specialized testing equipment.
- Provide assistance across all production areas as required.
- Accurately collect data utilizing Microsoft Office tools and data collection techniques.
- Manage inventory and execute transactions effectively.
- Associate degree in Mechanical Technology or a related discipline, along with one year of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and assembly specifications.
- Skilled in using various mechanical tools and electronic testing equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP is preferred.
For candidates in New York, the salary range for this role is between $41,600 and $58,240 per year. Additionally, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus.
