Production Assembly Specialist

Role ResponsibilitiesThe Manufacturing Technician will:
- Efficiently assemble, repair, and rework mechanical assemblies with minimal oversight.
- Utilize test equipment and engineering schematics to evaluate mechanical components.
- Ensure high-quality output and timely delivery in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
- Conduct functional tests on products using specialized testing apparatus.
- Provide assistance across various production areas as required.
- Accurately collect and manage data using Microsoft Office applications and other data collection techniques.
- Oversee inventory management and execute necessary transactions.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An Associate degree in Mechanical Technology or a related discipline, along with a minimum of one year of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings and assembly specifications.
- Proficiency in using various mechanical tools and electronic testing equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP is preferred.
In New York, the salary range for this position is between $41,600 and $58,240 per year. Employees at INFICON are also eligible for a profit-sharing bonus.
