Key Responsibilities

HVAC/R Duties:

  • Installation and Maintenance:
    • Execute the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Conduct routine inspections of heating and cooling systems to identify and rectify potential issues.
  • System Monitoring:
    • Oversee HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently and comply with environmental and safety regulations.
    • Implement preventive maintenance strategies to avert system failures.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components.
    • Stay informed about industry advancements and integrate energy-efficient technologies as appropriate.
    • Understand cleanroom systems and protocols.
  • Emergency Response:
    • Act swiftly in emergency situations, providing effective solutions to HVAC-related challenges.
    • Collaborate with other facility technicians to resolve critical issues impacting overall facility operations.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain precise records of HVAC maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades.
    • Prepare reports on system performance and suggest improvements as necessary.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work in tandem with other facilities and maintenance team members to achieve overarching facility management objectives.
    • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized HVAC projects when required.
    • Assist other team members with tasks beyond HVAC systems as needed.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as an HVAC Technician with proficiency in various systems, including but not limited to:
    • BMS systems
    • Cooling towers and boilers
    • Heat pumps
    • Rooftop units
    • Fan Filtration units
  • Relevant HVAC certifications and licenses.
  • Strong grasp of HVAC systems, components, and controls.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical capability to perform HVAC maintenance tasks.
