Project Management Assistant at KADCON CORPORATION

KADCON CORPORATION is in search of a proficient Project Management Assistant to support our commercial endeavors. This position is crucial in facilitating a seamless and effective project lifecycle, from initial planning to final completion. As a Project Management Assistant, you will work closely with the project manager and site supervisor to ensure that all project elements are well-organized and adhere to our quality benchmarks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to acquire hands-on experience and develop your project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in cost estimation, bidding processes, takeoffs, and document assessments.
  • Assist project managers and site supervisors in formulating and modifying project timelines, material schedules, sequencing, and safety protocols.
  • Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and submissions, while maintaining project logs for timely processing.
  • Document meeting minutes effectively.
  • Examine daily reports from site supervisors, ensuring thoroughness, and report any issues or shortcomings to the project manager.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in the construction sector to competently perform tasks under general project management oversight.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret all construction documentation (Plans, Specifications, Addendum, etc.).
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, quick to learn, and a collaborative team member.
  • Effective problem solver with robust negotiation abilities.
