Job Description

The DuPont Country Club is seeking a highly skilled Member Events Coordinator to join our team in support of Sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Design, organize, and execute Member Events, including holiday events, member classes, summer camp, and other activities for members.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate and collaborate with outside vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Member Communication: Market events and respond to member inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Event Execution: Create and distribute BEOs to kitchen, banquet, and house staff, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
  • Summer Camp Management: Oversee the DCC Summer Camp Program, including hiring counselors, setting up camp, planning activities, and handling paperwork for campers and families.
  • Financial Management: Accurately record Member Events costs and revenues in the Northstar system.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Customer Service: Respond to member inquiries via email, phone, or in-person, providing prompt and courteous service.

Requirements:

  • Event Planning Experience: Proven experience in event planning and marketing.
  • Office Management: Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
