The selected candidate will conduct program evaluations and follow-up investigations while assisting management in formulating effective and sustainable corrective measures. You will report directly to the Manager of Process Improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with management to evaluate program effectiveness and identify strategies for risk mitigation and corrective actions for both recognized and self-revealing issues.
- Oversee all facets of Performance Monitoring and Analysis, including Issues Management, Self-Assessment, Lessons Learned, Management Observations, and event analysis.
- Accountable for the development and tracking of existing Performance Assurance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), enhancing these metrics, and analyzing various operational data sources to proactively identify trends that may hinder mission success.
- Create dynamic dashboards that reflect operational and financial performance for senior leadership, pinpoint process enhancements in operations and workflows, and establish timelines to monitor progress towards annual program objectives.
- Implement assigned programs within the designated directorate using established methodologies.
- Assist with data entry, report generation, tracking of dates, document management, assessment creation, information collection, and other coordination tasks as required.
- Facilitate condition assessments for compliance issues, assign trend codes, and manage mission centers.
- Encourage effective communication among team members, leadership, and external stakeholders, while working to inform and address identified risks.
- Analyze performance and operational data to detect negative trends and risks that could impact mission objectives.
- Define expectations for Performance Assurance programs and provide the necessary processes, tools, training, and support to ensure effective implementation across all INL mission centers to comply with relevant DOE orders.
- May implement a risk-based strategy to safeguard INL's security assets against various threats and adverse impacts on national security or the environment.
- May engage in inspections and evaluations of equipment and processes to identify risks, propose corrective actions, and collaborate with management to ensure effective resolution of issues while maximizing program budgets.
Minimum Requirements:
Level 2: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree.
Level 3: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
The salary range for this position is: Level 430 ($63,528- $130,284) / Level 440 ($75,804- $155,496). Compensation decisions are based on factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
