Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Social Services and Volunteer Coordinator. This role will provide clerical and project support to the Corps Officer, assist in the management of the Volunteer Program, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Corps Officer, including answering phones, taking messages, and preparing correspondence.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Volunteer Program, including recruiting, screening, and placing volunteers.
  • Coordinate volunteer activities, including scheduling, supervising, and dismissing volunteers.
  • Assist in the dissemination and implementation of policies for the use of volunteers.
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, activities, and other relevant information.
  • Provide training and orientation to volunteers prior to assigning them to specific tasks or departments.
  • Assist in the coordination of community outreach and engagement activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions

This position may require frequent phone and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting is essential.
