Job Title: Patient Service Representative

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers while meeting or exceeding service level goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer calls, emails, and other requests from patients and healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accurately and completely capture information and update systems appropriately.
  • Provide availability, tracking, and shipping information for patient's medication as needed.
  • Schedule treatments to be sent to the patient or patient's healthcare provider.
Daily Responsibilities:

Support 6-7 physicians daily with incoming clinical calls and messages, which would be speaking to 30-40 patients per day.

  • Field calls as needed for best treatment support.
  • Answer comprehensive clinical questions for patients regarding their treatment plans and physician orders.
  • Build trust and rapport with patients and help them navigate the nephrology process.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN or LPN license.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a specialty unit or physician office.
  • Any experience in Nephrology, Dialysis, or Cardiology is preferred.

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Louisville, Kentucky. Work Environment: Desk job in a close-door pharmacy talking to patients and providers on the phone. Calls are auto-connected, so you will be on the phone constantly. 3-week training in person (8:30am to 5pm).
