Key Responsibilities- Patient Scheduling and Registration: Schedule patient appointments, register patients, and confirm demographic data on registration systems.
- Insurance and Billing: Obtain insurance cards, verify patient information, and coordinate benefits with insurance companies.
- Payment Collection and Posting: Collect patient payments, post payments in the system, and reconcile receipts.
- Medical Records Management: Prepare medical records for patient appointments, scan medical records as required, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, respond to phone calls, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
- Customer Service Experience: Preferred
- Medical Terminology Knowledge: Preferred
