Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary technical resource for the sales team during the pre-sales process, providing technical expertise and support to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Collaborate with account executives and business development teams to understand customer needs, particularly in the MedTech and medical device sectors.
  • Conduct detailed product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements to showcase the value of our solutions.
  • Prepare technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution designs tailored to customer requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and technical challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights to ensure a seamless sales process.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive solutions, and technological advancements in the MedTech and medical device industries, providing valuable insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback to product management and R&D teams regarding customer needs and potential product enhancements, ensuring our solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Assist in the creation of sales collateral, white papers, and case studies that demonstrate our expertise in MedTech solutions, highlighting our unique value proposition.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, or a related field, with advanced degrees a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role, with a focus on MedTech and/or medical devices.
  • Strong understanding of medical device regulations, healthcare technology, and product lifecycle management in the medical device industry.
  • Experience working with product development and R&D teams in a MedTech environment, with a proven track record of delivering successful sales outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset, with a willingness to travel up to 25% primarily in the Chicago area.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of digital health solutions, IoT in healthcare, and software as a medical device (SaMD) technologies.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO standards for medical devices.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics.
