The Opportunity
Are you eager to leverage your commercial expertise and customer-centric approach to enhance longstanding partnerships with buyers? We are seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to focus on private label sales and contribute to our ongoing success.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, this role will be pivotal in executing effective account strategies and collaborating closely with our key clients in the United States to formulate joint business plans and stimulate category expansion. This position offers flexibility in location within the United States.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Key Account Manager:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Nature's Touch and key clients, ensuring their requirements are met while effectively advocating for the company's interests.
- Design and execute strategic account plans aimed at achieving growth objectives and enhancing profitability.
- Create persuasive, data-driven presentations customized for each client, pinpointing growth opportunities and actionable strategies.
- Lead negotiations regarding pricing and contracts to secure mutually advantageous agreements.
- Foster and sustain exceptional relationships with assigned accounts, promoting trust and collaboration.
- Oversee the project lifecycle with private label clients, from innovation to packaging modifications, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with category teams to drive growth through the four P's of marketing.
- Develop and manage account budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with volume and profit targets.
- Generate and communicate monthly sales performance dashboards and scorecards.
- Support data collection and reporting efforts, both internally and externally.
- Address client inquiries and communications promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience managing large national accounts in an Account Manager capacity.
- Experience with private-label products is essential.
- Familiarity with category management and/or marketing is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong commercial insight with a commitment to building long-term partnerships.
- Proven success in business development.
- High-level analytical skills and presentation capabilities.
- Comfortable taking calculated risks.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Motivated and determined to drive new business opportunities.
