Business Development Representative

PoolCorp is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with existing customers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for new business opportunities within our target market, including pool and spa retailers, builders, and maintenance firms.
  • Cold call on prospective clients and develop marketing strategies to reach new customers.
  • Qualify sales leads and make professional presentations on our products and programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customer personnel and identify client needs.
  • Provide quotes and product data as needed by customers and close sales.
  • Support operations and accounts receivable efforts and work with sales center, regional, and divisional managers to grow the business.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional-level business-to-business sales.
  • Proven track record of successful sales in a wholesale environment.
  • Ability to cold call on prospective clients and develop marketing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of one or more of the following product lines: pool-related equipment, plumbing supplies, tile, decking, exterior lighting, patio furniture, construction materials, building supplies, chemicals, landscaping/irrigation supplies, HVAC supplies, or similar tangible goods.
  • Holds a valid driver's license and has a satisfactory driving record.
