Job Summary

The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a positive and effective employee experience at Hallmark Media. This position is responsible for completing all administration tasks and duties related to employment offers, onboarding, biweekly payrolls, and offboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafts offer letters and terms of employment for review and approval.
  • Delivers a positive pre-onboarding experience to new hires, collaborating with hiring managers, IT, and admin functions to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Inputs and maintains the integrity of Hallmark Media's HRIS data, including processing new hire, promotions, benefit changes, and terminations to meet biweekly payroll deadlines.
  • Completes employment verification requests and responds to state Department of Labor information requests, such as unemployment or other benefit claims.
  • Assists with auditing and processing benefit invoices to ensure accuracy of enrollment information, premium rates, and timely submission to A/P.
  • Supports Manager, Employee Benefits and Wellness with case management to enhance employee experience.
  • Creates purchase orders and non-purchase orders, and tracks invoices.
  • Provides general administration support to the HR team.
Requirements
  • 2 years of HR experience.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience using an integrated HRIS/ATS, including reporting (previous experience with Paycom preferred).
