Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance sales territory in alignment with directives from the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Create lists of potential clients for sales outreach, utilizing resources such as media, business directories, industry publications, trade exhibitions, online platforms, and more.
  • Travel within the designated region to connect with existing and prospective clients to secure orders, either in-person or via phone.
  • Showcase or demonstrate products, utilizing samples or catalogs, while highlighting key selling points.
  • Guide clients on proper installation methods to ensure product performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Assess customer feedback and utilize discretion to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
  • Engage in sales forecasting for the assigned area using analytical tools like Microsoft Excel and CRM systems.
  • Provide pricing information and credit terms, and prepare sales agreements for secured orders.
  • Estimate delivery timelines for clients based on knowledge of production and shipping schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to ensure account details and promotional materials are current.
  • Participate in local industry association meetings and trade shows to promote company products.
  • Maintain productive relationships with Credit/Collections, Customer Service, Marketing, Service, and Logistics Departments to oversee the complete customer journey from sales to installation.
  • Assist Credit/Collections and Customer Service teams in resolving issues with assigned dealers.
  • Input new client information and sales data into CRM and Microsoft Excel.
  • Investigate and address customer issues related to deliveries.
  • Support Marketing in executing promotions and providing sales assistance to clients.
  • Document dealer sales interactions daily in the Voice of the Rep system.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with one to two years of relevant experience or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of company products, processes, and customer engagement.
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Familiarity with building regulations and their implications for window and door installations.
Communication Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing standard reports and correspondence. Proficient in speaking effectively to groups of clients or colleagues.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to compute figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
