Business Development Manager

SeKON is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth in the federal IT sector, with a focus on healthcare-related agencies and expansion into other federal sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities in the federal IT sector, leveraging established relationships and creating win tactics.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including federal clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Lead the development and execution of capture strategies to win new contracts, including proposal preparation and negotiation tactics.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the federal IT sector.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful capture efforts.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth by securing new contracts and expanding existing ones.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT sales and capture management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with federal agency decision makers and key influencers, particularly in health IT and expanding into other federal sectors.
  • Established network and proven relationships within the federal health IT sector and other federal agencies.
  • Strong sales skills, including negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
