Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Business Development/Capture Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and capturing new opportunities for the Universities Space Research Association (USRA). This role will focus on building and maintaining relationships with government agencies, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic plans to secure contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop and manage proposals to secure contracts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business growth strategies
- Monitor and analyze business performance metrics to inform strategic decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, engineering, or business
- 10 years of related work experience in business development, capture management, or technical program management
- Proven track record of success in business development and capture management
- Strong network of contacts within government agencies and industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Working Conditions:
This role requires extensive online usage and keyboarding for large time spans each day. Telecommute and travel may be required.
