We are seeking a Workshop Technician to take charge of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute servicing, assembly, and testing of WOM's and third-party equipment in line with our quality management protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary documentation as per our quality management standards.
  • Identify potential risks and oversee the condition of tools and machinery, reporting any issues to the Supervisor.
  • Uphold a professional demeanor and attitude at all times.
  • Understand and adhere to our Quality Policy and all QMS requirements.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations diligently.
  • Verify components against the Bill of Materials.
  • Inspect components for any damage or defects.
  • Complete sub-assemblies and final assemblies for testing and inspection.
  • Interpret basic drawings, specifications, and procedures accurately.
  • Operate hydraulic power units effectively.
  • Utilize general hand, hydraulic, and air tools proficiently.
  • Assist in rigging and de-rigging equipment for transport using cranes, forklifts, and winches.
  • Distinguish between various hydraulic and pneumatic fittings.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and provide technical feedback to Engineering or supervisors.
  • Conduct quality checks on tools to ensure proper assembly and functionality.
  • Complete documentation as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Be adaptable with work schedules, including the possibility of extra hours or weekend work.
  • Perform pressure and functional testing, including FAT/SIT of equipment.
  • Maintain testing equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, gauges, hoses, and related tools.
  • Utilize chart recorders as directed.
  • Employ measurement tools and functional gauges to ensure product compliance with specifications.
  • Verify gauge calibration and operate testing equipment accurately.
  • Monitor controls and instruments, record precise test data, and prepare test reports.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
