Regional Sales Development ManagerJOB SUMMARYThe Regional Sales Development Manager develops, increases and maintains sales for the assigned regional area of responsibility.The Regional Sales Development Manager assists the Region Sales Manager with the daily operation and profitability of the assigned regional area of responsibility, LAMP sales, business development, product training and support and all safety programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other duties may be assigned.Assists in managing the profitability of the regional area of responsibility, including timely preparation and completion of budgets, sales forecasts and submission of financial reports required by the company.Responsible for sales efforts in assigned regional area of responsibility as required by maintaining relationships, client portfolios, and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts.Also maintains contact with the clients on a regular basis through client meetings on-site and through external meetings at the clients' offices for contractual negotiations and technical presentations.Responsible for participating in the development of technical manuals and sales literature, assists Sales personnel in technical sales presentations or provides technical presentations directly to customers.Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.Responsible for field sales activities including ongoing professional training as required.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBA/BS degree preferred.Minimum 5 years of oil & gas industry experience preferred. Strong communication skills required in order to interface with various levels within the company and with clients. Relies on extensive industry experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to interact effectively with clients and company personnel in order to provide information and technical support.
