Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Trillium Flow Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans to maximize profits and growth opportunities within the northeast region of the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and profit growth objectives.
  • Identify new markets and formulate sales plans to develop close relationships with regional Municipal market clients.
  • Provide sales leadership and guidance to achieve sales targets and grow the business.
  • Coordinate with departments to develop strategic business plans, including resourcing and operational needs, budgets, market positioning, and potential partners and clients.
  • Develop and manage sales channels to achieve sales performance and growth.
  • Implement and monitor sales plans to achieve agreed sales targets and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts.
  • Seek out and analyze market intelligence and regional trends.
  • Manage sales channels to provide thorough project coverage within the designated territory.
  • Use company resources to monitor bid opportunities and assure thorough project coverage.
  • Assist consulting engineers or sales channels with project design, specification review, and budgetary quote preparation.
  • Identify sales channel needs and coordinate training requirements with functional departments.
  • Cooperate with Industrial Sales Manager in the management of special projects.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and policy deployment processes through monthly written reports.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Support Application Engineering, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain with competitor pricing levels to ensure maximum profit.
  • Achieve or exceed budgeted bookings and PBIT objectives.
  • Establish and achieve annual sales quotas for specific products in the region.
  • Travel as planned and when required to pursue the growth of international and domestic business.
  • Provide accurate and on-time forecasts, reports, and data on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare, implement, achieve, and report strategic plan initiatives and tactical objectives.
  • Promote and deliver targeted solutions to acquire new business.
  • Collaborate with Industrial Sales Manager and department heads to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Create written proposals and finalize agreements consistent with company policies.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow customer relationships for repeat business.
  • Effectively communicate and clearly define new business information to all company departments.
Requirements:
  • BA or BS degree in Marketing or Engineering strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience directing sales and/or marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in our core served markets.
  • Excellent oral and written persuasive communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of progressive accomplishment and growing a business/delivering results.
  • Skilled in the use of PowerPoint and Excel software.
  • Experience in Salesforce and Concur software preferred.
  • In-depth experience in identifying potential new markets and clients.
  • Excellent team player - ability to work within all levels of the company to accomplish goals.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Strong focus on Customer Service.
