Educational Systems Analyst - Journeyman

Location: San Antonio, TX

Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) delivers reliable insights to federal agencies and commercial clients in Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. The Educational Systems Analyst - Journeyman supervises subcontractors and aids in the creation of instructional materials, coordinates educational content, and integrates contemporary technology into training to provide necessary guidelines to subcontractors and instructors for developing curricula and conducting courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate content throughout all phases of the development process to ensure quality assurance and compliance with contract specifications.
  • Maintain training materials that support significant military-related systems.
  • Interpret client requirements while adhering to current policies and standards for the design and documentation of requested training.
  • Conduct training situation analyses and job task analyses to support the functional design and development of synthetic training systems and equipment aligned with current training topics.
  • Document analysis results professionally.
  • Utilize relevant industry and government standards and specifications.
  • Produce various documents and reports, including:
    • ISD: Training Situation Analyses, Training System Functional Descriptions, Instructional Performance Requirements, and more.
    • HSI: Mission Analysis, Operational Sequence Diagrams, Performance Baseline Specifications, and more.
    • HPI: Business Analysis, Performance Analysis, and Intervention Performance.
  • Complete annual training requirements in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Record daily labor hours in an online corporate system.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 24 semester hours pertinent to this position, including coursework in at least four of the following areas: Learning Theory, Instructional Design Practices, Educational Evaluation, Instructional Product Development, and Computers in Education and Training.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the instructional systems field, demonstrating knowledge of learning theories and principles.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Background check required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to meet customer security requirements.
  • Knowledge in subjects related to educational or training instruction, including occupational analysis and instructional program evaluation.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in various computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
