Position Overview

The Lead Sales Executive will be responsible for cultivating and sustaining beneficial relationships with prospective clients to meet strategic sales goals within a designated area. This role focuses on identifying and engaging new clients for CentralSquare Technologies' comprehensive software offerings tailored for the public safety and justice sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and sustain a robust sales pipeline while fostering a positive and professional reputation in the Public Safety industry.
  • Employ Solutions Selling techniques to assess client requirements and communicate effectively within the Public Safety domain.
  • Engage in travel to client locations, participate in industry conferences and trade shows, conduct discovery sessions, and facilitate demonstrations for potential clients.
  • Record sales activities with prospective clients using the company's Client Relationship Management (CRM) system; manage sales opportunities and pipeline effectively.
  • Collaborate with Pricing Managers and Sales Directors to create contracts and formulate quotes for potential clients.
  • Conduct thorough competitive analysis and maintain up-to-date knowledge of competing products.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in technical software sales and integration.
  • Proven experience in high-volume sales, ideally in software applications or comparable advanced technology products/services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM software; experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
  • A demonstrated sales history showcasing consistent success in achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
