Position Overview

The Group Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in various essential hotel operations. At our properties, this position collaborates across multiple departments, including Guest Services, Engineering, and Food & Beverage, to fulfill administrative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including document preparation using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, ensuring effective communication throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales Office and clients, facilitating smooth interactions during pre-event, event, and post-event phases.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and departments, supporting collective objectives and addressing employee concerns.
  • Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management promptly.
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Exhibit professionalism in personal appearance, communication, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Work Environment:

This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending and twisting.
