Job Overview

Resource Innovations is in search of a skilled Program Manager for Energy Programs - Startup to enhance our expanding Government Services division. This role will concentrate on the effective initiation of programs related to the Inflation Reduction Act, specifically focusing on Homes and HEEHRA across various states. You will receive support from our senior leadership team, including the SVP of Program Delivery and the VP of PMO, along with the entire Resource Innovations team. This position offers a unique chance to establish and develop a top-tier startup function that is scalable nationwide. Once the startup phase concludes, the role will transition into overseeing the programs you helped to launch.

As a Program Manager at Resource Innovations, you will collaborate closely with senior program leaders to ensure we meet internal timelines and surpass partner and client expectations. Your responsibilities will include establishing best practices, managing diverse projects, tracking deliverables and milestones, and fostering collaboration within the internal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates and supports the activities of large-scale energy programs in collaboration with program leadership, delivery partners, and State Energy offices.
  • Monitors high-level program deliverables, schedules, and milestones to ensure alignment with program objectives and priorities.
  • Organizes leadership meetings, including agenda tracking, note-taking, and scheduling.
  • Coordinates with internal support teams such as Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Engages with clients both in-person and virtually throughout the project duration.
  • Assists in problem resolution activities, collaborating with colleagues and subcontractors to address issues or preparing materials for leadership briefings on emerging challenges.
  • Conducts necessary analyses to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Must be willing to relocate to the greater Phoenix, AZ area.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the energy efficiency sector.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling capabilities.
  • Experience in client management.
  • Proven track record in tracking project schedules.
  • Willingness to exert extra effort when necessary, with the assurance of team support.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to adapt and transition seamlessly among tasks as priorities change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Asana, Smartsheets, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client management skills, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • A high degree of cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.

Preferred Experience and Education

  • Previous experience in energy efficiency or utility sectors is desirable, particularly in market transformation.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with governmental clients and agencies.
  • Prior experience in managing energy efficiency programs.
