Position Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee electrical installations for solar and battery storage initiatives. The successful candidate will possess at least 7 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in managing extensive electrical projects. The Electrical Superintendent will ensure that all assignments are executed efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with safety protocols.
Key Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate electrical installations and maintenance for solar and battery storage projects.
- Manage a team of electricians and subcontractors, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with project specifications.
- Analyze and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to facilitate precise installations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the electrical work performed, ensuring quality and addressing issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create and implement project plans and timelines.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable safety standards and regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
- Provide technical support and training to team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, providing management with regular updates on progress.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to guarantee timely procurement of materials and equipment.
- Effectively resolve any project-related challenges or conflicts as they occur.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in the solar and battery storage sector, with a proven history of managing large-scale electrical projects.
- Valid OSHA certification is mandatory.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, solar technologies, and battery storage solutions.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a talent for motivating and guiding a diverse workforce.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical challenges.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant trade certifications or licenses are advantageous.
- OSHA certification is required.
