Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified Electrical Superintendent to take charge of electrical installations for solar and energy storage initiatives. The successful candidate will possess at least 7 years of experience in the solar and battery storage field, with a robust history of managing extensive electrical projects. The Electrical Superintendent will ensure that all assignments are executed punctually, within financial constraints, and in alignment with safety protocols.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee and coordinate electrical installations and maintenance for solar and energy storage projects.
  • Lead a team of electricians and subcontractors, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with project requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for precise and effective installations.
  • Monitor the quality of work performed by the electrical team, conducting routine inspections and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create and execute project plans and timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant safety standards and regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Track project progress, including budget and schedule compliance, and report updates to management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to guarantee timely procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Proactively resolve any project-related challenges or conflicts in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in the solar and battery storage sector, with a proven ability to manage large-scale electrical projects.
  • Valid OSHA certification is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, solar technologies, and energy storage solutions.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and direct a diverse workforce.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot complex electrical challenges.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant trade certifications or licenses are advantageous.
  • OSHA certification is required.
