Job Overview

Resource Innovations is in search of a skilled Program Manager for Energy Programs to become a vital part of our expanding Government Services division. This role will focus on the effective implementation of energy initiatives aligned with the Inflation Reduction Act. You will collaborate closely with our senior leadership team, including the SVP of Program Delivery and the VP of PMO, to create a scalable startup function that can be replicated across various regions. Once the initial launch phase is complete, this position will transition into overseeing the ongoing management of the programs you helped establish.

As a Program Manager at Resource Innovations, you will engage with senior program leaders to ensure that we not only meet internal timelines but also surpass the expectations of our partners and clients. Your responsibilities will include establishing best practices, managing multiple projects, tracking deliverables, and fostering collaboration within the internal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support the activities of large-scale energy programs in conjunction with program leadership and state energy offices.
  • Monitor high-level program deliverables, timelines, and milestones to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Organize and manage leadership meetings, including agenda tracking, note-taking, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Engage with clients both in-person and virtually throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in resolving issues by collaborating with colleagues and subcontractors, and prepare materials for leadership briefings on emerging challenges.
  • Conduct necessary analyses to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Must be willing to relocate to the greater Phoenix area.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in energy efficiency.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.
  • Experience in client management.
  • Proven track record in tracking project timelines.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile when necessary, with a supportive team behind you.
  • Highly motivated and adaptable, able to transition smoothly between tasks as priorities change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Asana, Smartsheets, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
  • A high degree of cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in energy efficiency or utility sectors, particularly in market transformation.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with governmental clients or agencies.
  • Previous management experience in energy efficiency programs.
