Senior Manager, Assortment Analytics Lead at Walmart

Job Summary:

In this critical role, you will serve as the primary advisor to Merchants, providing actionable insights to inform category space initiatives. You will leverage Walmart's vast dataset to drive strategic recommendations, partnering closely with leaders across merchandising, product, and engineering teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Recommendations: Analyze category performance data and space productivity to ensure optimal category footage allocations across all stores. Manage nuances, such as fixture type and compliance, through strong attention to detail.
  • Leverage Tools and Technology: Partner with internal team members to utilize tool automation to drive efficiencies in modular and floor plan analytics and drawing. Lead a team of associates through modular and floor plan expectations to align quality of work with key deadlines.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Build internal relationships with merchant and cross-functional leaders to achieve aligned goals for the business. Drive cohesive plans at store level by partnering with internal teams, such as merchandise operations.
  • Operate with Excellence: Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.

  • You will build strong relationships with your cross-functional partners in the organization.
  • You are organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You have high standards and can hold contributors accountable.
  • You have experience in category management or modular development.
  • You are stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.
